Description Transgenic line expressing SOMAT679A, the phosphosite mutant form of SOMA (sensor of MAPK activity), with a nuclear localization signal. For targeted expression of the sensor in the nuclei of transgenic plants, the SOMAT679A protein coding sequence was moved into the binary vector pCAMBIA-1300 to produce pSOMAT679A-NLS. Col-0 plants were transformed by the floral dip method and the transgenic line was identified by screening T1 seed for seedlings showing YFP fluorescence. Genotype of the transgene is unknown.
